Shoe trends autumn/winter 2022-2023

 With these temperatures, we don't want to think about winter at all. Nevertheless, the new shoe collection is already slowly arriving at us. Let yourself be surprised by the shoe trends for autumn/winter 2022-2023. Getting some inspiration can't hurt, right?

Loafers Hotels

Copy-paste from last season, because the loafer remains. This fine comfortable shoe comes in different variants this autumn. Very nice classic with a nice seam on the nose, but also a bit tougher with a coarse sole. The loafer with heel is also hip.

What all models have in common is the addition of bits and chains on the instep. This gives the shoe just a little extra.

Rain boots

This autumn you can be stylishly prepared for the inclement weather conditions. Rain boots are well represented on the catwalks. Chanel was one of the first to send her models onto the runway wearing chic rain boots. Wear them purely functional when it rains or super hip under a maxi floral dress or knitted skirt – even when it's not raining.

Don't take this trend too literally. In the new collection, in addition to classic rain boots, we also see derivatives of them, such as boots with a plastic coating or in the model of a rain boot. There is enough variation so that you also dare to take on this trend.

Wedge heels

The wedge heel is slowly returning to fashion. Where we last saw this heel en masse about 10/15 years ago, we now see more and more wedges appearing here and there. Ideal to create a little extra length without uncomfortable walking.

Shoes with platform soles

Don't wedge heels give you enough height? Then go for platforms! Versace and Valentino have named the ultra-high platform shoes the shoe of autumn/winter 2022-2023, but to make it more wearable we went for something more casual. Think of loafers with thick platform sole and sturdy boots with coarse profile sole under the shoe.

Can it be striking and over the top from you? Then the boots from AGL are the shoes for next season for you! These cool ankle boots have a platform sole and block heel with ribbed structure. Our purchasing team has already labeled this shoe as one of the hottest shoes in the collection.

Prefer a slightly more feminine shoe? Then you have to have Lola Cruz's. This suede boot has a platform sole, high block heel and comes in cool colors such as purple and orange.

Kitten heels and queenie heels

The kitten whole is without a doubt the most popular heel of this season, supplemented by wedge heels and block heels. Kitten heels we see ov-e-ral and under different types of shoes: pumps, ankle boots, long boots. Often in combination with color or glitter, but also just in neutral colors. A fine, refined counterpart to the gross violence of platforms and rain boots.

On the catwalk we saw that many open variants were worn with a (thick) sock or tights in it. Very tasty during the cold winter months. You can wear boots with a kitten under a dress or skirt (with tights to keep your legs warm) or under a favorite pair of jeans for a tougher look.

High boots

A trend that many of us can't get enough of in the fall: long boots. Ideal for the colder days, because your lower legs are completely covered by the boots. This season we see several variants: classic in smooth leather, slouchy (a bit of the ''sagging effect''), completely straight, fitted and in striking colors and even metallics. Preferably with the highest possible shaft. Oh and don't forget the soles: made of leather, nice and bulky and coarse or elegant with a beautiful heel. So you see, there is a style for everyone!

Retro sneakers

The line between fashionable sports shoes and sports sports shoes has officially blurred in 2022. Trainers, runners and retro sneakers it is this fall. The more nostalgic, the better. This season you prefer to combine them with something unexpected: long silky slip dresses, something asymmetrical or in combination with clothing in a jaunty fabric. Of course, our favorite jeans or trousers should not be forgotten. A little less splashy and fashionable, but very comfortable, easy and familiar.

Trendy snowboots

Whether or not it's going to snow this winter: snowboots are hot! Nubikk and UGG have very cool specimens in shiny metallic colors such as gold and silver. You can immediately recognize a snowboot by the puffy appearance and sturdy (profile) sole. Perfect for outdoors, but this autumn also very hip under a cool dress or wide trousers.

Shoes with (fake) fur

This autumn we see a lot of shoes with (fake) fur. Not only on the inside as a nice warm lining, but also as a detail on the outside. Fortunately, nowadays it is almost always about fake fur (especially with us!), so you don't have to worry about that. Especially boots get a fur accent, but also a single sneaker is provided with a warm coat. Ideal for winter, this trend.

Colors: dark green, fuchsia, orange, blue

It will be a colorful winter, because in addition to the classic winter colors such as black and brown, we also see many warm colors such as fuchsia, cyclamen, burned orange, blue (cobalt and petrol) and dark green. And that can be seen, because even long boots come this season in a beautiful purple / pink color. You really make a statement with that!

We have very cool blue ankle boots this autumn (also in metallic!) Toral, but also suede loafers from Bibi Lou in a beautiful fuchsia shade. Multicolor is of course also possible, such as the cool sneakers from Nubikk in which different pink, purple and blue shades are combined.
